The Ministry of Finance in Poland introduced a new tax declaration with an aim of preventing tax fraud. As SAP partner, Plaut needed to provide the users of SAP software in Poland with an easy and quick way of sending the new tax declaration to the Ministry of Finance system.
The problem was that SAP systems and the Ministry of Finance system have varying protocols (SOAP and REST) which meant there was no easy way for them to communicate. An additional complication was an extremely tight deadline to implement the tool and a temporary lack of internal capabilities at Plaut in required technologies.
We helped Plaut by quickly providing them with specialists who were able to meet the requirements and deliver the solution within the timescale set by the Ministry of Finance. The solution enables an easy connection of the two protocols, allowing Plaut’s clients to not only send large, but also multiple files. By contrast, the alternative service, later created by the Ministry of Finance only allows users to send one file at a time which necessitates repetition of the whole process each time additional files are to be sent.
